Inspiration from Susan Boyle

Yesterday was Motivation Monday with Zul. Today, it's Talented Tuesday with Zul. Well, I admire people who have talent. Talent in arts, maths, dance, magic, soccer, etc. They have something unique that makes them special and talented. Here is a video of a talented 47 year old Susan Boyle. She's an Internet Sensation with more than 55million views for her video in just a month. That's special. What is more special is because of her talent to sing.

After hearing her singing, there are a few things that we can learn from her.

1) Never give up on your dreams even if you think you're too old to do it.

2) You don't have to have looks to have talent

3) Don't judge a book by it's cover. Everyone in the audience, including the judges tick her off when she came on stage. That's the power of first impression.

She's an inspiration to many given the situation we are in during this period of highs and lows. Even till now, I do have goosebumps everytime I watched her sing.

You can view her video in youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY

Here's the lyrics for that song which will easily make it in my list of Motivation Monday.

I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high,
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving.

Then I was young and unafraid
When dreams were made and used,
And wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung,
No wine untasted.

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hopes apart
As they turn your dreams to shame.

And still I dream he'll come to me
And we will live our lives together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms
We cannot weather...

I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seems
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed.

She's a talent and for that she makes it in my list of Talented Tuesday.
